Always G-d is real and available. If you do not think so, its because he is hiding from you. G-d hides and never speaks to most 99.999% of the world. Why would he? He does not depend on your knowledge of his love and devotion. But you better near realize that he is watching you and knowing your future and fate.
Either way, say hello sometime and just lay in bed and be your friend of your G-d and talk to him as if he knows who you are. It might pay off.
